Our
Foundation Stage Department is on the main school site
and offers an environment rich in hands on experiences
and the opportunity to have fun and learn through
play.
We have four nursery classes and our aim is to provide children with a
range of activities within the Foundation Stage
Curriculum that will stimulate and motivate learning.
The groups are small with a high ratio of dedicated
teachers. The six areas of learning, which form
the basis of the foundation stage curriculum, have a
set of early learning goals with recognised stepping
stones of development. The final phase of the
Foundation Stage Curriculum commences when the child
enters Prep 1 (Reception).
