Friends of Orchard
The 'Friends group', as it is affectionately known, is a parent and staff group of people who organise a variety of social events throughout the year, the majority of which raise funds for the School and Nursery. The Friends have been in existence for over 20 years and hold meetings once or twice a term - usually in the mornings before school - to both plan events and discuss proposals for spending money that has been raised.
Events
The Friends have supported our fund-raising balls, as well as the Christmas bazaar, the Easter Egg hunt and Summer fete. Friends have helped to fund some excellent initiatives such as computer equipment and networking for the School, state of the art triple buggies for the Under 3's and playground markings, to name but a few.
