Leavers Destinations

Our Alumni

At Orchard we are incredibly proud of the relationships which we maintain with our former students. Many keep in touch with the school and share with the us, often in person, their progress, successes, and accomplishments, as they continue their education and journey into adulthood.

They often take part in our fund raising events, such as our Fun Run, assisting with our Beaver Group in their own preparation for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, helping in holiday club as well as seeking advice on GCSE, A level and University options.

A Continuing Relationship

Our leavers often return to school to talk about their own experiences to our Year 4 pupils, giving them confidence and a ‘heads up’ in preparation for their transition to their new school.

The pleasure and delight the alumni have given not only by their surprise visits but also the bond that they continue to sustain with their fellow old ‘Orchard Apples’ is incredibly rewarding to see. They are truly awesome.
